The Fund Administration unit covers a diverse range of fund structures including collective investment schemes such as private equity funds, expert funds and unit trusts.
The Fund Administration Team leader takes an active part in the day-to-day operation of the department, besides managing, developing and organising a team of fund administrators.
One of your daily duties will be Provide high level technical input and ensure that the appropriate processes and procedures are in place to accurately fulfil the Fund Administration function.
To succeed in this offshore fund role you must ensure that the teams are adequately resourced and trained in order to be able to provide a high quality service that meets the Service Level Agreements determined with clients, and which conforms to the appropriate regulatory and legal requirements.
You will also (alongside client service representatives) manage the relationship with clients and provide appropriate and timely reporting to the Fund Administration Director on team performance and resources.
Finally you will initiate regular review processes and procedures to identify potential improvements.
To be considered for the Fund Administration Team Leader opportunity you should hold the Professional level ICSA and if possible a Securities Institute Diploma.
It is also expected you will be able to demonstrate at least five years success in Fund administration.
